Games Workshop 05-01 25mm Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring Battle Game

This auction's for a single open (i.e. plastic seal removed from box) boxed set for the Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring strategy battle game, which is a quick-playing system suitable for large skirmishes or battles and should feel familiar to anybody who's played Warhammer. You'll note on the box top that there's supposed to be a free Bilbo miniature inside the box. Guessing it was a card or paper slip with details, I don't recall there ever being one in the box and if there was one, after 23 years I've no idea where it may have got to. Included in this auction are:

1 ea 132 page (including covers) full color rule book (4th - 7th pictures) that includes a lot of background material, modeling tips, scenarios, and so on (see table of contents in 5th picture)
48 plastic 25mm miniatures (8 Men of Gondor, 16 Elves, 24 Moria Goblins) (2nd and 3rd pictures), all still on their sprues
1 ea 8 piece ruined building (2nd and 3rd pictures)
53 ea 25mm round slotta-bases

Note these figures are true 25mm troops. There was apparently something in the licensing agreement that required they be this scale and not 28mm. In any event, the figures are up to Games Workshop's highest standards, take paint well, and look great when finished (see 2nd picture). Packaging is in new condition beyond the plastic seal having been opened and the possible absence of a special offer slip. Paint them!
