OASIS / SURPRISE,TENSION AND DANGER (2CD)

Description

Two consecutive nights at Glasgow SECC on December 7th and 8th, the first and second shows of the 1997 edition of the Be Here Now Tour that started in September 1997 (December 7th to December 18th) Performance recording (excerpt on the 7th). What's more, the first day's performance was canceled due to Bonehead being hit by a vodka bottle thrown by an audience member, and that scene is perfectly recorded!!! This final leg was scheduled to include two performances each in Glasgow, Newcastle, and the famous Manchester (G-MEX performance), and the final leg would be a three-night performance at Wembley Arena in London. The set list has changed slightly, and "Cigarettes & Alcohol" appears as an encore. “Magic Pie” is being played at the beginning of the leg, and it can be seen that “Don’t Go Away” has been specially revived in the set only in Manchester. First of all, the live performance on the second day of the Glasgow performance, which is recorded as the main one, has high tension from its appearance, and Noel also delivers phrases with a high degree of freedom here and there. “AllAroundThe World” is played with a formation that includes the horn section only for the UK performance as in September. The three consecutive big songs from here are truly a masterpiece. Oasis's live performance at this time can't be bad, but in a live performance where only the audience sound source remains, it is no exaggeration to say that this day was the best performance. The tension is exploding. The first day of the Glasgow show, which includes a digest, was reported in a Japanese music magazine at the time, but a vodka bottle thrown from the audience hit Bonehead's knee while he was playing "Wonderwall." After the performance ended, Liam became furious and everyone, including Noel, pulled up from the stage and the show was called off. Although the digest had four songs cut out: "Stay Young," "Stand By Me," "D'You Know What I Mean?," and "MagicPie," the performance was amazing on this day as well, including "Roll With It" and THE STONE ROSES' "Waterfall." There is also something interesting about connecting the riffs. By the way, at the performance the next day (the second day's performance recorded in the main), the members appeared and pretended to dodge bottles for a while (lol).
