This is an original press photo. The present plan of the federal government to utilize the vast power resources made available by the Muscle Shoals development were moved ahead when David E. Lilienthal, director of the Tennessee Valley Authority, paid an inspection visit to the Wilson Dam plant. Lilienthal is shown above, at right, with Llewelyn Evans, power engineer, as they inspected the plant.Photo measures 7 x 9inches. Photo is dated 07-27-1933.
