This beautifully restored naval ship searchlight, fully operational, was crafted by Francis of Bolton. It's being offered for sale along with a surveyor's theodolite tripod, creating a unique lighting fixture suitable for various settings. The light features a brass and copper housing with an 11-inch refractor lens, and its mirror can be externally adjusted to focus the light. The tripod, likely made of teak, adorned with brass fittings, carries the well-earned signs of use from its years in a local surveyor's business. The refurbishment has been done with respect to preserving the character and history of both items, proudly showcasing the story they've lived through with their knocks and scuffs. Although this item can be posted at the buyers expense, the lamp and tripod are of a very sturdy construction and weight and every effort would be made to package the item to withstand the transportation. However, its highly recommended to collect the item in person if possible
