Okay, Strat Lovers - look away, this is not for you. Those of you who think Leo got it right first time around - come on in...

Neither Strat or Tele the Mischief Maker brings both sets of tones to a guitar that is packed with quality hardware for one of the most versatile guitars Fender have ever made. This one is a Hardtail with the BEST Japanese Vintage neck I've ever had on it.

Looking at this guitar you may instantly be a little taken back with the Stratocaster body attached to a Telecaster neck. So it is Strat tones with Telecaster feel right? Not quite. Even though it looks like just a neck swap it will give you the killer tone of Tele Bridge and Strat Neck to a high degree of accuracy - the hardtail really helps with this.

The Custom Shop Strat body is made out of Lightweight Alder so you can play it all night long with no back pain whatsoever. The neck has been built from a single piece of Maple and carved in to the classic 'C' style neck by with a slightly more 60's 7.25" radius on the fingerboard and came from a Japanese Vintage Telecaster from 1985 - Fender's first year of manufacturing 'Fender' branded guitars from Japan. As you might expect the quality of build is unbelievable and vintage correct.

Musical mischief abounds from a spirited Custom Shop creation that delivers all the sounds of a Stratocaster and a Telecaster. The  Mischief Maker is much more than a battered Stratocaster with a Telecaster neck, it's the best of both worlds. God Bless Mike Lewis - the founder of the Fender Custom Shop Mischief Maker.
