Labradorite (also known as The Stone of Magic)
was first discovered in 1770 in Labrador, Canada by Moravian Missionaries who
named it after the area. It is also referenced in legends from Inuit tribes who
believed it fell from the frozen fire of the Aurora Borealis. It's treasured
for its wonderful play of colour and pearly sheen.
