About this vehicle

After much hesitation and consideration, I’m finally placing my family’s beloved 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser for sale. It has been a strong running and reliable vehicle for us for about 5 years now. We are the third family to enjoy and rely on ol’ Frank the Tank here. I bought it from a family in Virginia that it was gifted to from the mother of the wife who purchased it brand new. Now that our sons are off to college and travel ball is coming to an end, it’s time to downsize. It’s taken us up and down the East Coast from Cooperstown, NY to I don’t know where exactly, FL. If you know anything about Toyotas or these Land Cruisers, you’d know it’s just getting warmed up at 300k miles. It’s been well maintained and just recently received both new mufflers, all four o2 sensors, both catalytic converters, and gas cap to address the emissions issue for Delaware inspection (emissions testing are not required in Alaska, Arkansas, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, South Carolina, South Dakota, Florida, Washington, and Wyoming). I have also included the codes listed on the Inspection report for the State of Delaware. The tires, brakes, and rotors are fairly new with about 8,000 miles on them. For being nearly 20 years old it has the normal amount of wear and tear you’d expect of an icon from the 100 series era. This turn of the century Land Yacht would be excellent to safely transport a new driver, or turn into the ultimate overland survival vehicle, a rock crawler, sand dune desert beast to an absurdly wealthy oil baron, or just a travel ball taxi for another generation of great future Americans. It fits a queen sized air mattress in the back with the seats up and there’s a mosquito net along with some other items that go with the vehicle like a battery operated air pump and tow straps etc. -Minor chips in the paint -Small dent on the tail gate -1 small tear in the drivers seat that’s been sewn closed -I just use the Bluetooth to circumvent the antenna I lost at the car wash -Charcoal Canister -several small rust spots on the lid of the rear tail gate which I have temporarily sealed with a mixture of enamel and epoxy. Again, Both catalytic converters have been replaced with new ones, all four O2 sensors, muffler, I’m assuming it will only need a new charcoal canister. I’m open to any questions you may have. This vehicle is in really good shape and runs strong besides the emissions issue.
