I bought this bag in the BIBA new store in the 1970's.   They came in brown, lilac, white and green that I know of and made from strong canvas like Army swag bags.   This is the brown version.   It is washable and did initially have a stuck on printed BIBA label on the inside back but that has long since gone.  The colour has faded unevenly.
