Location:  Crestwood Kentucky, 30 miles outside of Louisville KY

1961 Airstream Caravel 18’ travel trailer for sale. This is a custom built themed trailer. The electrical has been updated, all the lighting is 12v only, there is a new 20 amp outlet mounted near the bed night stand and an additional outlet that power the converter and refrigerator. New converter, 12v system and 110 breaker box. The windows have been rebuilt and are weather tight. With new glass. The roof has been sealed. The subfloor has been repaired and new underlayment and VCT tiles has been installed. The trailer has been cleaned from top to bottom. The exterior has been clear coated. There is a new mattress. The horizontal LP tank is new with a new regulator and quick LP connection for a grille. The door gaskets are new and weather tight. The refrigerator is working. All of the exterior running lights are new and working, new seven box and cord. The air compressor does work and so does the air-horn. The spotlight is not hooked up but is new and can be wired. The plumbing is untested and presumed that it needs some attention. The stove does work but is not currently hooked up to LP. It comes with all props in these pictures, some are semi attached so staging is easy. The couch does pull out to a sleeping bed. The table and chairs come with the trailer as well as the American flag only this which is an antique with only 48 stars. The other two flags are negotiable. All of the props on the roof rack go with the trailer and are permanently attached to the rack. The blue sign on the roof is a transformed antique sign that I created based off of real signs. This is a statement piece of towable art. I do have a MFA in sculpture at the University of Cincinnati. I also own an Airstream restorations shop in Kentucky. This has been a two year passion project that I had fun with creating. I do have the orignal title from Alabama not in my name, I will only provide you with a bill of sale with my name on it.

Transport 

We have experience with transporting Airstreams all over the world.   The delivery cost inside the US is roughly $1.50.  The trailer can be transported a few different ways.  The most common way is to use a hot shot service where the driver pulls it with a truck.  The second option is to load it on a flatbed trailer.  This option is typically more expensive.  If you're an international buyer, we can arrange the shipping as well.
