I grew up on James Bond movies, I'm a big fan. My personal favorite actor which played Bond is Pierce but as I get older, Timothy is getting closer and closer to number 1 position. So, everything that has to do with the franchise has a special place in my heart.
This pipe is still a mystery to me. I read somewhere that these were made in Germany by Heibe. Stamping found on it says "James Bond 007 18 S", nothing else. Shape is quite interesting. Bowl is paneled, pipe is quite long. Whole bottom part was made so that when you turn it upside down, it looks like a sight of a gun. There is no "V" cut on bottom spike, nor the metal sight on stem that aligns with it like with 18 SK shape. It can sit with bowl leaning forward or it can "stand" on sight while leaning on the back end of stem. Stain is jet black on sandblasted finish. Perfect choice for this shape and edition. It's light in the hand, unfiltered. Stem unscrews from metal tenon that is permanently glued to shank.
Unsmoked and in pristine condition, still has its paper tag.
