Crichton was a young achiever.  By age 30, he had graduated from HARVARD MEDICAL SCHOOL, written two best-selling novels and successfully directed the movie WESTWOOD.  "Disclosure" is the story of MEREDITH JOHNSON, who has risen to the top of a large firm. Meredith attempts to seduce Tom Sanders, one of her employees---a former lover----in her office.  He resists.  Crichton writes: "Big deal. Women screw men and get ahead.  Women are just as hot as men. They want it just like we do. That's real life. But you get two people who are pissed off, so they file a complaint, and say, 'Oh, no, you can't do that to me.' When he resists, she files a sexual harassment suit, but Tom hires a "feminist lawyer" who challenges her---and WINS! Meredith came on to everybody.  She's sort of an equal opportunity employer in that respect.  She chased everybody! Meredith Johnson was later named Vice President for Operations and Planning at IBM and married the U.S. Ambassador to France.  Crichton says the episode is based on a true story. 200 pages.  I offer combined shipping.
