Made in 2020, the much talked about AZ with little signs of use!
The AZ series has become a hot topic in the high-end industry and has since become the standard.
This is a maple fingerboard model with 22F specification and SSH specification equipped with Hyperion.
The body is not full size, but slightly smaller, and the back contour is definitely large alder.
1pcs The neck is made of Estech treated maple, so-called roasted maple.
The neck shape is Oval C, which is a standard neck shape for Ibanez.
The fingerboard surface is finished with a 12-inch diameter, and the frets are made of jumbo-sized stainless steel.
The PU is equipped with "Hyperion" designed for AZ made by Duncan.
In order to retain some of the cleanliness of the original sound even when distorted, the output was slightly suppressed, and a focus was placed on picking followability and reproducibility. It's a typical tone.
Control is the ``dyna-MIX 9 switching system w/Alter switch'', which allows you to freely switch between humbucker and single coil modes with a single switch of the mini switch, allowing you to create a variety of sounds in limited situations. It should be useful in the field where it is required.
The tremolo is a recessed T1802 developed from the industry standard Gotoh 510 in collaboration with Ibanez.
It uses a hard machined titanium saddle and machined steel inertia block to achieve both a good start-up and a solid and fat sound, and also features a long high range.
There are also many points you won't want to miss, such as the "Super All Access" neck joint finished with a spherical surface that you may have seen elsewhere, the luminous position mark on the side of the neck that comes in handy when it gets dark, and Gotoh lock pegs!
The neck condition is fine, and the truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen, and can still be adjusted to tighten.
There are no string marks on the frets, and the rest is about 90%.
Currently, the string height is adjusted to approximately 2.0mm on the 12F 6th string side and approximately 1.5mm on the 1st string side.
There are some dents on the side of the nut, but there is no other major damage.
◯The finish is similar to that of UHR, but is typical of Ibanez.
With these specs and this price, it's a Japanese-made Ibanez! Every part has a modern finish, and the sound is modern and versatile! Series wiring on the front and center allows for not only LP type sounds but also TL mixed tones! This is a book you definitely want to try!
