STEP 1:latch the gear on the rim of the can
STEP 2: Turn the knob clockwise for a full cut.Stop after a full round to avoid metal shavings
STEP 3: Tumn the knob counter clockwiseagain to release the lidlift the lid with magnet
STEP 4: Lid can be put back on,Wont fall off
