This is a face plate for the legendary 1960s Fender Bassman head. It is a repro not original. It is in used but very good condition. It was purchased here at ebay a few years ago, and used on a Bassman Amp. There are no major scrapes or dings, but a couple of letters have a slight discoloration on them from aging. Overall it looks really nice!
One thing to note is that the other seller on Ebay who sells these, uses a shiny clear coat on them which is not period correct. It makes the face plates look odd, especially when used on a vintage amplifier. On this face plate, I used a Matte Finish clear coat to tame that down, and make it look "period correct".
This will look great on an old blackface or early silverface Bassman Amp head. It has the pre-CBS "Fender Electric Instrument" lettering.
