Oris Big Crown BC3 day date black dial 40mm Men's automatic Watch - Ref 7500

Oris is a renowned independent Swiss watchmaker since 1904. They are known to bring out their own designs without coping any other watch brand and produce fantastic watches at a reasonable price.

Oris Big crown was introduced in 1938. It was designed as a tool watch for aviator pilots. They intentionally made the crown bigger, so that it was easy for the pilot to wind the watch.

This model evolved over the years to a modern version of a very tastefully designed watch. Here is a fine example of a well executed pilots watch.

The watch is in used good condition for its age. Signs of use and scratches are present through out the case and strap.

Some hairline scratches across the crystal.

It is in good working order. Seems like the watch have had a service at some point. It keeps good time around -5 seconds a day.

Please note - the original strap is no longer available. A nice aftermarket (Geckota) has been fitted. Spare links are present.

This is a very nice looking legible watch. One of the collectable watches from Oris. This will suit with many straps, as it has a black dial with white numerals. As the summer approaches it will be ideal to have on rubber.

This is a fantastic military / aviator - pilots watch.
