The Loterie Nationale Posters were created on a weekly basis from the 1930’s onwards, the national lottery used the best illustrators of the day to produce what have become highly collectable images.  This is one from the 8 Piece La Cle Des Songes series produced by posterist and designer, Max Dufour in the 1950’s.

The Monkey is suggesting that the dream of taking out a ticket for the national lottery is actually the key to a good time or your dreams.
