2023 5 oz Roaring Lion Silver Coin - High Relief

In Mint Capsule. Only 1000 minted. Individually numbered

The 2023 5 oz Roaring Lion Silver Coin follows the release of the 2023 1 oz Roaring Lion Silver Coin from earlier in the year. In addition, the 5 oz version is struck in High Relief with a limited mintage of 1,000 coins, making it especially attractive to collectors worldwide.

The Truth Series

The Truth Series was first released as a one-ounce silver coin in 2018. The series grew in popularity and demand over the next five years and now comprises silver, gold, and platinum coins in various sizes and finishes. The Roaring Lion and the Tree of Life are the two coins in the series. Each coin is struck in all three precious metals once a year and released at various times throughout the year.

Limited Mintage

Only 1,000 2023 5 oz Roaring Lion Silver Coins were struck by Sunshine Mint for this release. Due to the exceptionally low mintage and popularity of the program as a whole, we do not expect these 1,000 coins to last long. However, our experience has taught us that the collectibility of this series should increase the value of the coins over time, giving customers another great reason to buy this coin.

Individually Numbered Coins

Each coin is struck with five troy ounces of .9999 pure silver. These coins are individually numbered 1-1,000, a popular feature that ensures the coin is authentic and a part of the limited mintage. The unique number of your coin (struck consecutively and hand-engraved) can be found on the edge of the coin.

Design

The hidden "truth" inscribed on every coin provides significant value to the series. The "truth" changes every year. The Roaring Lion, which comes out earlier in the year, contains the first half of the Truth, while the Tree of Life has the second half. The truth “GOD IS SPIRIT” is micro-engraved on the 2023 5 oz Roaring Lion Silver Coin. This truth can be found in John 4:24.

The High-relief finish on this coin creates an exceptional presentation of the lion. High relief coins offer more of a three-dimensional look to the coin with raised elements above the coin's surface.

The reverse displays the Aleph Tav Symbol את on the lion’s crown and reveals the lion’s identity as the Lion of Judah: The strength of the Leader is the Sign of the Covenant. Inscribed on the band of the crown is “GOD IS SPIRIT”. Behind the lion is a reflective regal floral-like pattern that accentuates the beauty of this design.

Each coin also has a face value of ten dollars, backed by the Niue government. The face value, year of issue, and the Public Seal of Niue can all be found on the coin's obverse face.
