The former owner did not keep the original box; however, at the time of purchase, the r2r deck was stored in original plastic bag and showed no signs of use. After basic maintenance (new pinch roller, new caps, etc.),the deck will be in excellent condition and can last another 40 years no problem. We recommend professional servicing/adjustment after courier delivery of tape recorders for even better sound/specs, and regular pro servicing every 3-5 years.
