DESCRIPTION

Issued by the Pacific island of Niue, the Man’s Best Friends series of silver coins is dedicated to the unbreakable bond between humans and dogs. Each coin is a 17,50 g piece of silver .999 in proof quality, embellished with a digitally printed image of one of the most popular dog breeds. The mintage is limited to 1 500 pieces worldwide. Meet a Cocker Spaniel!

The obverse features a dog against an outline background image symbolizing the friendship between a man and a dog. Among the inscriptions, there are: the face value of the coin, its metal fineness, issuing country and year. Traditionally, there is an effigy of Her Majesty Elizabeth II.

The reverse is a lively depiction of a little cutie – a Cocker Spaniel. The other dog is shown in relief, together with some decorative motifs in the background. Primarily bred as a gun dog, a Cocker Spaniel is now a playful, cheerful, sweet and sensitive family pet. There’s a reason we call dogs man’s best friends. A dog is handing out pure love and loyalty, asking absolutely nothing in return. Where, there’s a dog, there’s consistency, love, and the beauty of life at its finest. Apart from being a remarkable collector’s item in a specially designed packaging, the coin will make a charming gift for all lovers of Cocker Spaniels!
