SS TON Gutsy Jonny Bairstow Lightweight Cricket Bat SH 2lbs 8oz. A very nice lightweight bat, it has a total of 8-9 grains with a few small blemishes. More details below. The ping is very good on this bat.

The most attractive feature on this bat is definitely the weight, it weighs only 2lbs 8.2oz which includes the factory-applied toe guard. The pickup is amazing, it feels very light in the hands. The handle is a standard SS one, round and a little on the thin side.

The edges come in at 37.5-38mm and the spine at 61mm. As you can see from the picture angled from the toe, there is only a small amount of concaving.

I can provide an SS bat cover for £5. Unfortunately the bat does have a few small dents on the face and back.

If you prefer to double grip your bats then I can provide a good quality SG grip for £3. I can also put some hockey tape around the top of the handle to enhance the pickup for only £1 (this is very effective, whilst not adding as much deadweight to the bat)

The bat has not been knocked in yet, that will need to be done before it is ready to face any balls. I am able to oil and professionally knock in the bat (by hand) for £25 and can provide an anti-scuff sheet of your choice free of charge. Contact me before purchasing if you are interested in this. If this service is paid for, the bat will still need to be played in with older/softer cricket balls before being used in a match.
