Thanks for checking out my auction for this vintage Thorens TD 124 turntable, Serial number 4328, Rek-O-Kut tone arm.

This was my dad's turntable that he purchased new in the early 60's. Originally it was mono. The mono cable and the original power cord are still attached (see pics). The work to change it to stereo was performed at the store where dad originally bought it in Asheville NC and I don't know why they would have left the old cable and power cord attached. 

The turntable hasn't been used for 6 years, but was working well in 2018. Unfortunately the receiver, speakers, etc were dismantled from his house before I had a chance to test it. Although I can't fully test the turntable, all 4 speeds work, and according to the strobe, it holds the correct speed in each setting. I don't know anything about the cartridge installed. I included some pics, so perhaps you can see what it is.

Included with the sale is the original manual, promo literature, set up material, template, and original purchase receipt.
