You are looking at a once gorgeous Antique top Silver Jewellery or trinket box in a rectangular shape
Beautifully made it has a Repoussé silver topped lid depicting hearts & flowers with a once green velvet body and cream satin interior
Measuring approx 4.5"(11cm) wide x 3.25"(8.3cm) deep x 1.5"(4cm) high
Hallmarked to the top S&Co, Anchor, lion Passant, f, which I believe is Sydney & Co Birmingham 1905
It is fairly good condition with a couple of absent pins, minor, dinks dimples marks and scuffs a consistent with age and may need a final polish. The hinge works well and the lid is a soft fit .
The Green velvet outside is mainly rubbed bare and faded. The inside is still rather nice.
