Scarce Antique Lacy Glass "Sheaf of Wheat" Flint Glass Cup Plate, LR-40, New England origin, Possibly Sandwich Glass Co., c. 1828 - 1832. This lacy glass cup plate is one of the earliest of the flint lacy glass type and it is heavy and thick. The plate is a very rare wheat sheaf cup plate with a flower petal in the center. This has a diamond and flower petal design to the center, surrounded by diamonds, with sheafs of wheat in scallops around the rim.
