Originally electric ,converted to modern battery Movement

casing believed to be chalkware 

Finished in gold

Gold face with white chapter ring 

Black Roman numerals and hands 

Face marked

Battery movement - takes 1x AA battery 

will come with original electronic movement that worked intermittently 

also comes with the original hanging hook and spacers from the back of the clock 

the clock now hangs from the fitted loop on the movement (quite recessed into the clock)

or from the string attached to the frame

Condition 

where the Surround is made from  moulded Chalk there are some chips around the edges 

this appears to have been touched in at some point and does seem to have hidden them quite well 

colour isnt perfect but close enough to hide the damage 

Original back missing - not needed with the replacement movement 

Although a shame not to remain fully original , now theres no need for the unsightly power cable running up the wall

and a great way for an old classic clock to remain usable for the next stage of its life rather than tosseed on the scrap heap !
