I've tested it with a 3rd party foot pedal but it seemed to operate in reverse, once u pushed the pedal it started in full speed and slowing/stopped when you pushed the pedal down. Couldn't bring myself to spend the £80 for an official one to test it, hense the price.. and listing as spares repair. No power cable included either, I got the one shown from another device, it's standard 2 pin small .
