Our NEW alternator bracket for the FE ford engines-390, 427, 428, etc, with the low/bottom mount.  This replaces the Ford factory two piece, (which are getting hard to find in good shape or reasonably priced), but were extremely difficult to adjust because the tensioner bolt entered from the backside, this enters from the front!  These clean up your engine bay and use the factory belts and hardware, attaches to most mechanical water pumps, (pre '65 pumps with the 'pin' have to be changed), and without any additional spacers or bolts.  Made in the USA from 3/16" 304 Stainless Steel, they can be powder coated, polished or painted.  And in case you want to run a 'one-wire' alternator but maintain the factory look, the Hybrid 1G alternator is a perfect choice with this bracket, or for a more modern look and higher amperage, the newer 3G with v-belt has the same radius.  (It cannot use a GM one-wire).  NOTE:  This is not a generator conversion kit-unless your block has the provision for the alternator bolt in front.  Our conversion bracket is listed on another auction.  Last pictures show the 427 with the 7-1/2" balancer and 3G 160 amp one-wire.  The complete bolt kit shown for this bracket is listed on another auction.
