Artist: 

Fujii Kaido (1898-1984) was the 515th head priest of Daitoku-ji temple and was responsible for overseeing efforts to restore Daitoku-ji temple after the war. He held a deep knowledge of the tea ceremony and tea ceremony pottery. His hand-made tea bowls and tea scoops are highly sought after by collectors.
