So this tamper was made by someone I personally know, a dear friend of mine who lives in the same city and with whom I often meet and hang out. His name is Dragan and besides his regular job, he makes bows, different objects, he draws, repairs...you name it, he can do it. This man has a soul of an artist. His bows are a work of art, both functionally and aesthetically. I've been trying to get him into world of pipe making for quite some time but in the meantime, he actually made a pipe tamper. This one :) He doesn't have any power tools, no fancy knives or anything similar. He enjoys making things with his hands. This tamper was made out of morta wood that was sourced from Great Morava river, not far from us. The black and white inserts are Buffalo horn and bone. And it finishes with thick brass block. This makes perfect sense and its light at the top side while being heavier at the bottom. It's ergonomically perfect, practical to fit any case. Morta ensures its long-lasting durability and resistance to weather conditions. And it looks so awesome in person. There is no stamp on it because he's still in the process of designing what it would even look like but, I'm hoping he'll have one soon. I'm not making any profit here. My objective is to sell his stuff and motivate him to make more and share the talent with the world. I'll even throw in free shipping :) If he keeps making them and gets better and better, imagine how far he can go? Get this one, you won't be disappointed, and let's find out together. Support the makers, support the community! :)

Tamper is 10.7cm long and weighs 28 grams/0.9 oz.
