6 hatching eggs from two blue copper marans (mother and daughter) and one black copper marans, bred with a black copper rooster.

A favourite breed due to its chocolate coloured eggs and stunning feathers, make good dual-purpose and free ranging birds.

French standard, not show standard in the UK, but truer to the original breed. Half of the chicks will be blue, half will be black (roughly). Eggs some of the darkest going on eBay, particularly our blue copper marans, while the black lays shiny speckled eggs a little bit lighter.

Eggs sent may be lighter depending on the time in the laying season, but the photos attached show the true colour at the beginning.

Only hatched small numbers myself, but got 4/4 (using an incubator). Viability can be reduced by half during shipping, but eggs are posted in polystyrene boxes, with paper or bubble wrap and taped well.

Eggs posted 1st class, the listing says 2nd so eBay gives me the time to get you the freshest eggs.
