Encyclopedia of human body poses drawn by art anatomists This book is an explanation of human body poses based on art anatomy. The illustrations in this book are based on sculptures, paintings, drawings, drawings from art anatomy books, and old photographs depicting the human body. The illustrations and photographs included in the materials were created around 1900, and many are modern engravings. Renaissance and ancient Greek works that were popular at the time are also occasionally included. I was hesitant about using actual photographs of the human body as materials, but I decided not to use them this time. If you want to see the actual human body, you can observe it yourself by looking at yourself in the mirror or having someone else pose for you. I thought that it might be worth opening this book to know ``. Poses in artworks can be emphasized to create a sense of dynamism, such as by ``twisting a little harder than the actual range of motion'' or ``acting in a larger scale.'' Many of the materials used in the illustrations are clothed statues or the bodies are hidden by supports (posts that support the sculptures), and in such places the contours of the bodies have been estimated or added. These hidden parts became easier to guess the more times I drew them. I don't know if it's accurate or not because I haven't seen the actual statue, but if you think of it as an example of ``this is what happens when someone who studies art anatomy fills in the missing parts'' I think. The example illustrations in this book are a combination of the basic body (the basic shape that forms the basis of a doll, etc.) and anatomical structure. The body is a graphically arranged human body image, but I brought it a little closer to the human body and matched the anatomical direction and body surface division with the dividing line. The torso, arms, and legs are each color-coded. By focusing only on each part, you can organize information such as the size and length ratio, how much it is twisted or bent, and how it changes from left to right. This is to make it easier to understand. Last but not least, I hope that everyone who reads this book will find it a source of inspiration for poses and human body expression. This book does not use many terms with kanji. I hope that people who have previously avoided art anatomy because they thought it was difficult will be able to get into it through this book.
