Battery is dead (cord use only)

Turns on but doesn't fully boot up fully boot up.
Process detailed below:
- Push power button with power adapter plugged in
- Makes start noise through speakers
- Makes disc noise & clicking sounds
- Disc noise/clicking sounds stop
- Goes to screen shown in the last 2 photos (disc icon with flashing question mark)
- Makes disc spinning/fan type of noises
- Doesn't reach home screen, 'disc with question mark' screen continues showing - question mark flashes in the middle of the disc picture
- Eventually shuts itself down
