Demons 1 & 2 OOP Limited Edition 4k Synapse Films - Lamberto Bava, Dario Argento - 80's Horror

Limited run of 6,000 copies, this set just went OOP and will become quite rare pretty quickly at this point. I can say without hesitation that I greatly prefer this Synapse edition with better English 2.0 mono on Demons over the UK Arrow versions, and this is coming from a big Arrow collector who will typically import an Arrow release over buying a region A version of the same film. The case is a classy full-height Scanavo, the new art on the slipcover is much more appealing than Arrow's new art, you get a poster with art that differs from the slipcover and reverse arts, you get the movie ticket AND a party invitation, and I really like having original art for both movies on the front and back of the case when you reverse the sleeve. Synapse wins this one regardless of putting it up against the two single releases or the box edition that pulls apart from Arrow UK. What you can expect when ordering this item from Fat Dog Films and full release details can all be found below:

Check my feedback and know you're buying from a trusted and reliable seller. Take a look at my other listings if you're a collector of physical media. I hope you find something you like!

CONDITION NOTE: All copies are brand new, sealed, and at least in Near Mint Condition or better. Photos depict the average condition of my stock. Some items could possibly have small shrink-wrap tears or very minor slipcover/package imperfections, hence the possibility of near mint. Please do not purchase if that is an issue for you.

Regarded by horror fans the world over as two of the greatest Italian horror films ever made, Lamberto Bava's Demons films are not only major cinematic nightmare fuel, but also hugely entertaining splatterfests of the highest order. Synapse's 2013 Blu-rays remain two of their most popular releases, and now they're bringing these favorites to 4K UHD and remastered Blu-ray in brand-new spectacular 4K restorations! These horrific splatter classics produced by Dario Argento (Suspiria) have never looked or sounded better and are packed with hours of special features, making this the ultimate home video release of these horror favorites. In Demons, a masked man offers tickets to a horror movie sneak preview at the mysterious Metropol cinema. When a patron is scratched by a prop displayed in the theatre lobby, she transforms into a flesh-ripping demon! One by one, the audience members mutate into horrible creatures hell-bent on destroying the world! Can anyone escape this gory orgy of terror? In 1986's ambitious sequel Demons 2, the apocalyptic terror continues! A televised horror film spells doom for the residents of a luxury high-rise apartment, as demons are unleashed through the TV screen at a young girl's birthday party. As more and more residents are infected and transformed into blood-thirsty demons, a young couple fights to survive as they try to escape Hell on Earth.
