VW Bora V5 2.3, 20v 170bhp, MOT Nov 24, 154k, 2 previous owners - brand new clutch kit, OSF spring and NSR abs sensor. All 4 tyres (matching) have covered less than 500 miles since fitted and still have 8mm tread showing.
This is one of the cleanest Bora you're likely to find, all arches/sills/inner arches and underneath are totally sound. The interior is equally as good, this looks like a 50k mile vehicle! It is very likely that it has been garaged all its life.
There is service history right up to 120k in 2015 and that fills the last space (No 20) in the book for entries. Since then, there are subsequent bills totalling £1000+, so I suspect that regular servicing continued well afterwards. Also, I have just spend almost another £1000 on making it suitable for sale (e.g. clutch kit, spring, tyres, etc.).
Only two previous owners since new, the first for initial three years and the second for the next 20 years.
Only bad points I can find are: there is some lacquer peel to the front portion of the roof and someone has dropped something on the bonnet leaving a couple of small dimple marks. The start motor is a little 'throaty', but my Audi A3 was exactly the same for years and never caused any issues.
It can come with either set of wheels as shown in the various pics. The period correct silver Golf/Bora 16" wheels have 4 nearly new all matching tyres with 8mm tread, but are scuffed a bit and would benefit from a refurb. The tyres on the black 16" 'split reps' all have good tread, but a couple have cracks showing due to the car standing unused a while.
The car drives beautifully, sound great and is fast and smooth. The interior is a clean and very comfortable place to be, free from any wear of note at all.
