This is a first-generation COPY of a signed 1974 script from the LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE TV series from my personal collection (not a transcript or Photoshop replica). The original script was signed by series star Michael Landon (aka Charles “Pa” Ingalls). A very nice copy is being offered for sale.

The script is from the memorable episode “100 Mile Walk”, the show’s third episode. In the story, the Walnut Grove farmers’ wheat crop is ravaged by a hailstorm, so the men leave town to search for work. During his long walk, Charles meets Jack Peters 'powder monkey', a flamboyant hard rock miner who recommends Charles for the well-paying but dangerous job, part of a 2-man hole drilling team needed to hand-set blasting charges in a rock quarry. Meanwhile, back in Walnut Grove, Caroline organizes the women to try to salvage what they can of the damaged wheat. In the end, though separated by distance and circumstance, the pioneer families work together to meet the challenge of unpredictable prairie life.

The script’s cover has been copied in color and a sheet of acetate is included for protection and for a stunning appearance (to be honest, it looks better than the original). Pages are printed on one side. Great care has been taken to make this a piece that a collector will be proud to own and show off.
