This is a great set of vintage grumacher paint brushes.

Some of the brushes say New York or NY and some of the brushes say USA. Two of the brushes are a famous watercolor artist named Sue scheewe

Two of the brushes also say Beaux arts.

Please look at the pictures carefully as they are a part of the description. Given the are vintage brushes there is some paint on one or two and some of the black paint has chipped, but the brushes are in very good overall condition. Some are definitely very old because they have the M Grumbacher N. Y.

The big brush is one and a half inches flat. It is a number 4116.

Brush numbers 20, 10, 6, 7, 1, 4, 5, 3, 1

Series 4116, 926 – B, 7357, 190.

I am not sure if these brushes are stable or synthetic. Some of the older ones are very soft, which would leave me to believe that they are made of Sable.
