     * Tucked inside the book was part of a newspaper with an advertisement for the American Export Lines Mediterranean Services of United States Mail Steamers (Limited Number of Passengers Carries) from New York to Malta, Alexandria, Jaffa, Haifa and Beirut   

* CONDITION:

         - The book is in good condition for it's 99 years and intended use.

                  > the top inside corner of the gook's leather cover has some damage (see last pictures) but the text block isn't affected.

                  > The leather cover has partially loosened from the mounting board it's on, but a little paste will secure it again - something we will leave up to the winning bidder

                  > MEMORANDA pages 128, 129 have some steamship business related addresses written in and page 145 has the word Istanbul written at the top. 

     * This book makes a great collectors item for those interested in ocean travel in the 1920's and some of the rules of the day.
