If you do it is very likely the vegetal ivory buttons will have broken off, cracked and chipped over the years. They have broken off all my jackets except one.

After 3D modelling the initial shape and design then testing the fit and finish with 3D printed samples to optimise fit and bonding which is why the inner recess is rough to help with the bonding. We then sourced a natural supplier of an ivory alternative to give the grain pattern then had the buttons machined, dyed, polished to the correct finish.

The results are unbelievable and the buttons look and feel identical to those on the original jackets, and each button is a different grain on each one like the original with the exact recess on the back to fit the metal studs.

All you will need to do is adhere your buttons to your stud using a glue of your choice
