The Benchmade 551 Griptilian Early Version Folding Knife is a high-quality pocketknife made in the USA in 2003. It features a modified drop point blade made of 440C stainless steel with a satin finish and a plain edge. The blade is 3.45 inches long and .115 inches thick. The knife has an ambidextrous/dual thumb stud opening mechanism and a black glass fill Noryl GTX handle with a color Valox and double 410 stainless steel liners. It also has an AXIS™ lock and is part of the Griptilian Series.
