Here is a nice original set of these iconic prewar Lionel standard gauge passenger cars. Includes #419 Baggage/Parlor car, #418 Parlor car, #431 Dining car, and #490 Observation, all in apple green with red trim and black trucks. The set is all original Lionel, but they have been nicely restored at some point. This was not an amateur job, it was done well and professionally. I believe it was done a while ago, as the cars do show a little age, with a couple small nicks and scratches, nothing major or offensive. The 490 has a magic marker streak on the roof near one end, which should be easily polished out. All trim is intact on the set. Someone added weight inside of the floors inside of the cars, which has made them substantially heavier than originally. I’m sure this could be easily removed if desired. Please examine photos as they are the best description. The set displays wonderfully, and would make a great addition to your collection, or a beautiful set for the layout! No reserve!
