One of a kind!

Built in 1943, the Liberty Ship the SS John Hay was later decommissioned in the 1960s and sent to a scrap yard. Someone saved this. I would love to sell this to or hear from someone whose family served on this vessel.

Still works and points north.

There is a lot of age, but the glass is intact. So is the liquid inside. There is dirt and it is tarnished. The only markings are in the center of the compass “John Hay” and “Toronto”Please see photos.
