L S Lowry - Laying a Foundation Stone Vintage Framed Print, exhibited at Manchester Art Gallery.


City scene, originally painted in 1956 depicts the ceremonial laying of a foundation stone for the new school at Clifton. The scene amused Lowry greatly as he felt the attendants looked quite bored.


This large vintage piece from 1975 is in excellent condition, beautifully framed in gold, picture size 60cm by 45 cm… with total frame size 78cm by 64cm.
