This Honda Varadero XL 125cc is a 2005 carb model with a very low mileage.

It is a touring style motorcycle manufactured by Honda and comes with an MOT expiration date of April 2025.

This is a well known and well respected model. It's known for being "bomb proof" and for looking like a much bigger CC bike. I'm 6 foot and 15 stone'ish and this was a perfect first choice for me. I didn't look right on the standard 125s.

What I didn't expect was how easy this is to live with. It was my daily, all year round, commuter and it rarely let me down. It doesn't like the cold so in the winter it needs some TLC to get going (I had to put a a radiator next to the engine block to warm it up first).

It's the preferred carburettor model which means less electrics to go wrong. But even more important for me was the chance to get to know the bike and help maintain it.

I've upgraded it a bit since I got it 2 years ago. It has new Hepco and Becker, Varadero specific, crash bars. Essential additional fog lights. LED main headlights. New chain and sprocket set. The Varadero branded touring screen. Wing mirror extenders. It has an integral trickle charger which will come with the bike. The is also a colour matched Shad top box with 2 spare keys and an internal bag.

For the right price I've still lots of spares I will include, such as new stator and gasket, new regulator rectifier, new air filter, new oil filter, CDI and the original screen.

There is a small crack on the rear left fairing  and some damage to the bottom of the seat .

I've put it up for the same price I paid for it which I think is fair given all of the upgrades and additional items.

I love this bike but I've passed my full license now and don't need two....I think.
