This vintage mustache teacup or coffee mug and saucer set marked R.S. (Reinhold Schlegelmilch) is made of porcelain and features a lovely peachy cream rose floral pattern with gold rim trim. Some people refer to this as a shaving cup but the purpose of the guard is to help keep a man's mustache clean while drinking.

There are typical light surface marks from handling and it could use a gentle cleaning to remove surface dust from display and long-term storage. Measurements of the mug are approximately 3" tall x 3-1/2" across top rim x 4-1/2" including handle. The saucer is 6-5/8" across x 1-1/8" tall.
