Description

Approximately 140 types of historical Japanese Shinkansen trains, which will celebrate their 60th anniversary in 2024, will be introduced.
Originally running at 210km/h, Shinkansen trains now run at 320km/h on commercial trains, and even faster on high-speed test vehicles. This book allows you to learn about the types of trains that were active during the history of the Shinkansen, which continues to evolve dramatically. In addition to commercial vehicles, we also introduce high-speed test vehicles and commercial vehicles used for inspection and maintenance work on railways and overhead wires, along with valuable photos.
