This product is a working distributor for a 1941-1947 Ford Flathead 6 cyl engine (the G series).
It has used points. Notice the vacuum brake is will need replacement and 1 cap clamp is missing & a condenser
Note: it is no big black magic science if you wish to replace the points. People have been doing it since 1941 without a "holding fixture" or a "guru" doing it. They are just set with a feeler gauge separately (best out of the vehicle).
