This is an Italian carpet / tapestry bag in a chenille feel fabric. 2 wooden handles - one has a small dark mark.
There is a long strap that can be used as 2 straps or one long for over the shoulder.
The bag is lined in black with a small pocket inside and a Made in Italy label.
The bag has been in my family for many years.

Height with handles is 14 inches
Height without handles is 10.5 inches
Width at the top under handles is 13 inches
Width at the bottom is 15 inches
