Panasonic HDC-DX1 digital camcorder in original box with manuals, charger, original battery, 2 x Sony DVD-RW 8cm discs (Blank-formatted), power supply/charger, power lead, component video lead, composite video/audio lead, USB lead.

The camera also features an HDMI output socket.

Please note: the battery is the original while it does take charge I cannot guarantee the capacity of it due to age and lack of use. I have charged it for 30mins and the camera shows 30mins charge available however a proper charge will probably give far more run time but as stated I cannot guarantee the battery due to age.

The camera works, has been tested stores video to the discs can read write and erase video clips so works as originally intended.

The unit has 5.1 channel surround sound with microphone zoom, Dolby digital (Dolby AC3)

The optical system employs 3 CCD optical detectors for enhanced video quality and stores video to 8cm DVD-RW discs at 1080i resolution in MPEG4 AVC/H264 Format, 50 fps

As this camera was purchased in 2005 for a Christmas gift and only used for a few hours on Christmas Day then packed away it is in immaculate condition the original box and packaging shows some sign of wear and tear for 19 years of aging but nothing to detract from the value of the camera or effect it’s operation.

This truly is a fine example of a piece of audio video technology kept in pristine condition from a crossover era in analogue to digital video encompassing the best technology of the time and still a usable bit of equipment today. The overall feel of quality is apparent in the unit as you would expect from Panasonic. With solid build, high quality finish and comfortable and very usable aesthetics it’s a fine piece of collectible technology.
