"A Metz Origine" model No. 2 is a modern replica of the 1858 Origine model which Butz Choquin was famous for. This pipe is a long Bent shape with Acorn-like form of bowl. Plenty of silver on it and every band has a beaded edge profile. What sits in between silver bands and mounts is the real albatross bone. It's got a yellowish, aged tone and looks awesome. Stem is acrylic, while the original on 1858 model was also bone. It's now designed as push flared saddle stem. They even made the slight curve of the stem to match the design of the original pipe. Smooth natural finish, I wish there weren't all those small factory fillings but it still looks great. There are exactly 6 factory fills, all surface of course. Four are quite small, couple of them bigger. Pipe is unfiltered and it comes with custom made, our limited edition, velvet sleeves. Notice that this particular sleeve is one of a kind since there is silk lining inside. And it had to be long to fit this beauty. Very lightly smoked, beautiful condition.

Do appreciate the amount of work that went into restoring this pipe as close as possible to its original condition. Meticulously cleaned, with fresh coating applied to the chamber for additional protection.
