ITEM: 2021 $2 ABORIGINAL FLAG COLOUR CIRCULATING ROLLED COIN MINT ROLL (25 COINS) RAM

Original Mint Roll, comprises 25 of the full colour 2021 $2 Aboriginal Coin.  This is a head to tail roll. 

To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Australian Aboriginal Flag the Royal Australian Mint has struck this coloured $2 coin.

The Australian Aboriginal Flag was designed by Luritja and Wombai artist Harold Thomas in 1971, as a symbol of Aboriginal unity and identity.

From its rebellious beginnings the flag has become one of our most recognised symbols and was proclaimed an official Flag of Australia in 1995.

The black field on the flag represents the Aboriginal people, while the red below represents the earth and the ceremonial ochre, The central yellow circle, beautifully realised here with the gold colour of the commemorative $2 coin, represents the protective and life-giving sun.

These rolls have been issued in brown paper printed with the words "Australian Government Royal Australian Mint" and struck with a limited mintage of only 10,000 rolls.

This coin roll is sold as is, in the condition pictured in the photos. Some coins may have flaws, minor marks, wear or manufacturing faults, but they have been purchased directly from the RAM. We will not accept any returns if you are unhappy with the condition, as shown in the photos. If you require any further photos or information on this coin please contact us prior to bidding.
