This is a very sturdy tripod; but it is not light (~ 13lbs). ~ 38" collapsed and ~ 63" extended (will stand a little lower depending on leg spread setting). Heavy duty metal spiked feet with step. Tripod is in excellent condition overall, but does show some signs of use (minor scuffs, paint wear/chips).

Custom adaptor milled from 1/2" 6061 T6 aluminum with stainless steel thread insert and adjustable height stainless steel 3/8-16 stud. Suitable for attaching most equatorial mounts or photography heads.


A typical tripod for photography/videography this sturdy costs a lot more money. And it's just in time for the solar eclipse next month!
